Answer:

If the chocolate is for 2500 students for 40 days.

Then,

Each day the chocolate is consumption by students are

40 |2500|62.5 \\ 2500 \\ 0000 \\  \\ so \: in \: this \: case \:  \\ each \: day \: 62.5 \: choclates \\ were \: consumed \: by \: students.

If the chocolate lasted for 50 days then

50  |2500| 50 \\ 2500 \\ 0000\\ each \: day \: the \: 50 \\ choclate \: is \: given \: to \\ student

So, the number of students absent is=

62.5-50=

12.5

so, approximately 13 students were absent.

hope it helps..

Answer=2000 students

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of students absent be x

2500 students == 40 days

x students == 50 days

So,,

2500*40=50*x

100000 = 50x

100000/50 = x

2000 = x

Therefore, x = 2000 students
