if there are some parrot sit on the tree and some goat eating grass down the tree if the numbers of head equals to 35and no.of legs equal to 90 then find the numbers of parrots

Let the number of parrots and goats be x and y respectively.
Each parrot has one head.
.: x parrots have x heads.
Also, each goat has one head.
.: y goats have y heads.
Given, total number of heads =35
i.e. x+y=35
=>x=35-y.....(1)
Now,
Each parrot has 2 legs.
.: x parrots have 2x legs.
Each goat has 4 legs.
.: y goats have 4y legs.
Given, total numbers of legs=90
i.e. 2x+4y=90.
=>x+2y=45
From (1)
35-y+2y=45
=> y=10
Substituting y in (1)
x+10=35
=>x=25.
Hence, number of parrots is 25 and goats is 10.
