HELLO!

Power = Work done(energy) / Time

           = J/s or WATT.

But there is another unit of energy, the kilowatt-hour (kWh), which is equal to 1,000 watts of power for 1 hour.

Since the question does not specify the time taken we can't find the exact power consumed, but it has given a clue that the heaters have been used to heat two different buckets, as if its a test so both might have started at the same time and might rise at a constant rate

but for example if you are running both the heaters for 2hrs.  (it is a different thing that the one who consumes energy more will finish first)

Then energy consumed for 1500 watt will be 3000 wh or 3 kwh.

and for 2000 watt will be 4000 wh or 4 kwh.

So if for same running time definitely more power heater will consume more energy.

point to be remembered: the one who has more power will complete the work fast as time is inversely proportional to power, as power decreases time increases and as power increases time decreases.

HOPE THIS HELPS ^_^
