If there are two rational numbers with I have to compare which are - -3/-13 , -5/-21 ,so while cross multiplying it do I cut the negative signs with each other?

no need to cut.... just multiply the signs and directly write positive sign...

follow the formula

(positive * negative = negative)

(positive * positive = positive)

(negative * negative = postive)

(negative * positive = negative )
