if there are two wires w1 and w2 of same material and same length but the radius is r and 2r which will have more resistance. please answer sincerely

We know that the resistance of a wire is inversely proportional to the cross-sectional area of the wire. However, the cross-sectional area of the wire is proportional to the square of the radius of the wire. This means that the resistance of the wire and radius of the wire is inversely proportional to each other.
then the wire(w2) with radius 2r will have less resistance as compared to the wire(w1) of radius r .
