The man + the 3 people + the 4 people

So 1 + 3 + 4 = 8

Given :- If there is a man standing in a group, having three people to his right and four people on his left How

many people are there in the group ?

Solution :-

Let us assume that, The person standing in the group is X and he is Facing North.

Now, we have given that, there are 3 people to the right of X .

So,

  • Right of North = East .
  • X , P1, P2 ,P3 .

Now, we have given that, there are 4 people to the left of X .

So,

  • Left of North = West .
  • P1, P2 ,P3 ,P4 , X .

Therefore,

  • Totel People in the group = P1, P2, P3 , P4, X , P1, P2 , P3 = 4 + X + 3 = 8 People (Ans.)

Hence, There are 8 People in the group .
