if there is a no cash word in transaction so is it credit or debit ????​

We have paid the rent so it is our expense and according to modern rules of accounting expenses are always debited.

Rent A/C Dr. 5,000

To Cash/ Bank A/C 5,000

(Being rent paid)

Cash/Bank both can be used as it is not mentioned.
