Heya..!
A person having Rh antigen on the surface of their RBC is considerd as +ve(ex: A+, O+) and those who don't have this antigen on their RBC are considered as -ve(ex: B-, AB-)
INCOMPATIBILITY DURING BLOOD TRANSFUSION.
The first blood transfusion of Rh+ blood to person with Rh-blood causes no harm because Rh-person develops anti Rh factors or antibodies in his/her blood.
In second blood transfusion of Rh+ blood to the Rh-person, antibodies prepared previously attack the RBC of the Rh+ve blood.
so, such type transfusion should be done only once in the lifetime of a Rh-ve person.
HOPE THIS HELPS YOU.
