if there r 999 bases in an RNA that codes for a protein with 333 aminoacids ,and the base at position 901 is deleted such that the length of RNA becomes 998 bases,how many codons will be altered? options r 11 33. 333. and 1...pls ans frns

In short to encode 333 amino acids, similar numbers of codons are used.

One codon codes comprise of three bases so if one base is deleted at 901 position cause frame shift mutation which will alter 33 codons.
