Life would be harder because religious books would be non-existent and many people would feel isolated and lost in terms of religion. Learning would be put at risk as textbooks would not be acsessable and history would not be shared. People would be unable to imagine and exercise their mind through reading books.

A world without reading would be a library without books, or a website without content. ... Reading meaningful content is food for our brains.

Answer:-

It is said in the Gita - "Knowledge is not liberated" means that without knowledge, liberation is not possible. There are mainly two paths to attain knowledge - Satsangati and 'Swadhyaya'. Describing the glory of satsangati, Tulsidasji has said - "Bin satsang vivek hoi nahi" but the attainment of satsangati is dependent on Ramakripa. If God is pleased then one will get satsangi. But books are easily available everywhere. The source of knowledge is the book. Today the oldest books of the world are also available to us. There is a lot of literature available in every language. Every man can expand his knowledge horizon by studying according to his ability. There was an era when publication of books was not possible. Speech was the medium of knowledge. More and more banquets were available. On which the compositions were written. But after the invention of the printing press in today's era, we have the ideas of sage-monks, philosophers, thinkers and litterateurs available in printed form. Therefore, we can corrupt our lives by studying them.

There is no bad disease due to maladjustment. That is why it is said - that solitude is far better than misunderstanding. Vedas, scriptures, Ramayana, Bhagavata, Gita etc. are the invaluable treasures of our life. These books have been guiding us since the beginning of creation till today and are maintaining our cultural heritage. Bhartrihari has written that intelligent people are those who spend their free time in study and scripture discussion. We should not only study books but also meditate after studying. There is a deep connection between study thinking and meditation. Thinking is not refined without study and value is not studied without thinking. Books are our friends who help us in every place and every time. This is why many people keep Bhagwat, Geeta, Hanuman Chalisa, Guruvani always with them and keep reciting them when they get time. With the promotion and dissemination of books with the best ideas, new directions can be given to the young masters of the nation. The lesson of unity and integrity of the country can be taught and a strong nation can be built.

We should avoid ourselves from studying poor books and save others. Just as the rich food harms the body instead of benefiting the body, similarly poor literature distorts our mindset.

In the same way, there are many more.

Thanks!
