4(x-y)=24

in eqn i

x^2+y^2-2xy+2xy=468

(x-y)^2+ 2xy=468

from eqii

6^2+2xy=468

2xy=432

xy=216...iii

now

x-y=6

x=6+y

xy=216

(6+y)y=216

y^2+6y-216=O

y^2+18y-12y-216=O

y(y+18)-12(y+18)

y=18

and xy=432/2

xy=216

x(12)=216

x= 18
