Explanation:

If theta is an acute angle and sin theta = cos theta , then value of 2 tan^2 theta + sin^2 theta - 1 !! Plz fast Only 1 day to go for my Maths SA1 :(((

 θ is an acute angle

and sin θ = cos θ

⇒ sin θ = sin (90° - θ)

⇒ θ = 90° - θ

⇒ θ + θ = 2θ = 90°

⇒ θ = 45°

Thus,

2tan2θ + sin2θ - 1 = 2tan245° + sin245° - 1 = 2(tan 45°)2 + (sin 45°)2 - 1
