a3=8

a8=-12

a+2d =8

a+7d=-12

a cancel

2d-7d=8-(-12=)

-5d= 20

d=-4

put value of d in a+2d=8

a+2(-4) =8

a-8=8

a=16

a34=a+33d

=16+33(-4)

16-132

a34= -116
