Answer:

The numbers are 6, 4 & 15

Sol: let the numbers be x ,y & z

According to question

x +y =10 ……..(1)

y+ z= 19 ………(2)

z+ x= 21 ……….(3)

Subtracting (1) from (2)

we get z -x = 9………(4)

Subtracting (3) from (2)

we get x - y = 2 ……(5)

Adding (5) & (1)

we get 2x= 12 implies

x= 6

Substituting x = 6 in (1) we get

y=4

Substituting y= 4 in (2) we get

z=15

Therefore the numbers are 6,4 & 15

Step-by-step explanation:

Let be the three numbers are x, y, z.

pairs means two.

possible pairs are xy, yz, xz.

i.e. xy = 10, yz = 19, xz = 21

x = 10/y, y = 19/z, z = 21/x

xy * yz * xz = 10 * 19 * 21

xyz^2 = 3990

xyz = sqrt (3990)

xyz = 63 (approx.)

substitute x = 10/y in xyz = 63

10/y * y * z= 63

z = 6.3

y = 19/z substitute z value

y = 19/6.3

y = 1.4 (approx.,)

sub y value in x = 10/y

x = 10/1.4

x = 7.1 (approx.,)

the three numbers are 7.1, 1.4, 6.3 approximately.

sorry I multiplied instead of sum . previous answer is correct.

sums

x+y=10

y+z=19

z+x=21

by solving 1st and 3rd equation we get

y-z=-11

by solving 4th and 2nd equation we get

2y=8

y=4

sub y value in equation 2

4+z=19

z=15

sub z value in equation 3

15+x=21

x=6

The three numbers are 6, 4, 15
