If three numbers are in the ratio 2:3:5 and the twice their sum is 100. Find the square of the largest of the three number?

Let the numbers be x

Then 2x, 3x and 5x

Now

2(2x + 3x + 5x) = 100

=> 2* 10x = 100

=> 20x = 100

=> x = 5

Therefore 2x = 2*5 = 10

3x = 3*5 = 15

4x = 4*5 = 20

So the square of the largest number is

(20)^2 = 400
