Let l,m and n are three parallel lines and t and s are the transversals.

Join AF that intersect line m at G.

$\frac{AC }{GE} = \frac{AG}{ GF} \: \: {by \: bpt...........(1)}$

In ∆FBA , GD || AB

$\frac{AG }{GF} = \frac{BD}{DF} .........(2)$

From (1) and (2)


$\frac{AC }{CE} = \frac{BD}{DF}$

Hence it is proved.
