Step-by-step explanation:

B

C

D

Medium

Answer

Let the total number of oranges bought =2x dozen

Then, C.P. of 2x dozen oranges = Rs. (10x+8x)= Rs. 18x.

S.P. of 2x oranges = Rs. (11×2x)= Rs. 22x

Gain = Rs. 120

Therefore, 22x−18x=120

⇒4x=120

⇒x=30

∴ total number of oranges bought by him =2×30=60 dozen.
