If three points A, B and C have p.v.s (1, 2, 3), (3, 4, x) and (-3, y, -5) respectively and if they are collinear then
(x, y) =
(A) (2, -3)
(B) (-2,3)
(C) (7, -2)
(D) (2,7)

Answer:

If we see in the first factor there is 1,2,3 which refers that 1+2=3

in the same way we can see that 3+4=(7)

and in the last factor there is the first number and the answer if we minus the number we get (-2)

it means the answer is (C) (7,-2)
