if three resistances of 3ohm ,4ohm,5ohm are connected to a cell in parallel combination.Through which resistance will flow the highest current and through which resistance will flow the lowest current??

As they all are connected in parallel , they potential difference across them will be the same.


As V=IR,

I(3)*R(3)= I(4)*R(4)=I(5)*R(5) = V

I(3) represents the current through 3 ohm resistor.


You can see that the current is inversely proportional to the resistance , which means higher the resistance lesser the current  and lower the resitance higher the current

Therefore I(3) will be max and I(5) will be min.
