If time is used as an independent variable in a simple linear regration then it is true that tjere exist a linear relationship between the independent variable and the indipendent variable again residual variaotion is same for all fitted value of the dependent variable and lastly residuals are normally distributed .
This leaves as with an answer in 2 above that successive observations of the dependent variables are uncorrelated
