Let distance,speed,time be s,v and t

then

s = vt ------ (i)

since t has decreased by 20%

=> t - 20/100t = 4t/5

since the distance is same and new speed be x

so s = x ×4t/5-------(ii)

from i and ii

vt = x× 4t/5

=> x = 5vt/4t

=> x = 5v/4

Hence the new speed is 5v/4

5/4× 100

= 75%

Hencethe speed is increased by 75%
