If tn be the nth term of an A.P Such that t4/t7= 2/3 find t8/t9

We know that,
t4 = a + 3d
t7 = a + 6d

Given,

a + 3d / a + 6d = 2/3

3 ( a + 3d ) = 2 ( a + 6d )

3a + 9d = 2a + 12d

a = 3d .

Now,
t8 = a + 7d = 3d + 7d = 10d
t9 = a + 8d = 3d + 8d = 11d

t8/t9 = 10d/11d = 10/11
