If transverse waves cant be produced in gases how light travels

Even though light travels in the form of transverse waves it can propagate through vacuum due to it's dual-nature. The light itself is an electromagnetic radiation composed of particles called photons. ... So, as mentioned, light behaves like a wave traveling through a medium by vibrating, while interacting with a vacuum space light behaves like a particle.
