Given:-

• ABC ~ PQR
• AB =6 cm
• BC = 4 cm
• PQ = 4.5 cm and
• QR= x cm

Hence:-

$\sf \frac{AB}{PQ} = \frac{BC}{QR}$

$\sf \frac{6}{4.5} = \frac{4}{x}$

$\sf (4.5 x = 6× 4)$

$\sf x = \frac{4.5 \times 4}{6}$

$\sf \frac{4.5 \times 2}{3} = 1.5 \times 2$

$\sf x = 3 \: cm$
