$as \: triangle \: abc \: similar \: to \: triangl \: xyz \\ \\ thus \: \: \\ \frac{ab}{xy} = \frac{ac}{xz }(theorem6.1)\\ \\ therefore \: \: \: \: xz \: = 4.5 \times 1.6 \div 3.2 \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: xz = 2.25cm$
