If trianglePQR, right angled at Q,QR =6cm,angle QPR=60 degree.Find the length of PQ and PR.

If angle P is 60 degrees, angle Q is 90 degrees, and QR is 6 cm, then

sin 60 = sqrt(3)/2 = 0.866 = 6/PR

Or PR = 6/0.866 = 6.93

Similarly, tan 60 = 6/PQ = sqrt(3) = 1.732

1.732 = 6/PQ

Or PQ = 6/1.732 = 3.46

Therefore the other two sides of the triangle PQ and PR are 3.46cm and 6.93cm respectively.
