Let , The unknown number be x

 \to2x +  \frac{5}{7}  =  \frac{7}{3}   \\  \\  \to 2x =  \frac{7}{3}  -  \frac{5}{7}  \\  \\  \to2x =  \frac{49 - 15}{21}  \\  \\  \to 2x =  \frac{35}{21}  \\  \\  \to x =  \frac{35}{42}

Hence , The required number is 35/42
