Let the amount of money A has be A

The amount of money B has be B

Twice the money of A = 5 times the money of B

⇒ 2A = 5B

Find the ratio:

2A = 5B

Divide both sides by B:

2A/B = 5

Divide both sides by 2:

A/B = 5/2

Therefore the ratio of A : B = 5 : 2

Answer: 5 : 2
