Let the area of the larger square be x and that of smaller square be y
Given,
x - 2y = 14 ---------(1)
2x + 3y = 203 ----------(2)

(2) - 2×(1) gives
7y = 175
y = 25

From (1), x = 14 + 2×25 = 64

Therefore,
side of larger square = √64 = 8 cm
side of smaller square = √25 = 5 cm
