Adjacent angles of a parallelogram are supplementary which means their sum is 180
So 5x-5+10x+35=180
=> 15x+30=180
=> 15x=180-30
=> 15x=150
=> x=150/15
=> x=10
So first angle of the parallelogram= 5(10)-5=45
And second angle of the parallelogram= 10(10)+35=135
Hope it helps you

Answer:

∴Measures of angle a = 45° and b = 135°

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that,

Sum of two adjacent angles of a parallelogram = 180°

So,

Given that,

two adjacent angles of  a parallelogram are (5x - 5) and (10x + 35)

Therefore,

(5x - 5) + (10x + 35) = 180

⇒5x - 5 + 10x + 35 = 180

⇒15x + 30 = 180

⇒15x = 180 - 30

⇒15x = 150

x = 10

∴ Now,

5x - 5

= 5×10 - 5

= 50 - 5

= 45°

and,

10x + 35

=10×10 + 35

=100 + 35

= 135°

∴Measures of angle a = 45° and b = 135°
