Addition of two angles which are equal to 180° said as supplementry angle.

2x + 27 + x + 33 = 180

3x + 60 = 180

3x = 120

x = 40

If two angles 8 supplementary than their sum is 180 °

so,

2x+27 + x+33 = 180

3x + 60 = 180

3x = 180-60

3x = 120

x = 120/3

x = 40
