If two angles are complementary and one is 10° less than three times the other find other angles..

Answer:

1st angle = x

2nd angle = 3x - 10

A.T.P ,

x+3x - 10 = 90

4x = 100

x = 25

Therefore ,

1st angle = 25

2nd angle = 3×25 - 10 = 65

then second will be (90-x)°

x-10 = 3(90-x)

x-10 = 270-3x

4x = 280

x = 70°

first angle = x = 70°

second angle = (90-x) = (90-70) = 20°
