No it gives H2 molecule

Simar111: but hydrogen is made of one electron and one proton ok and if two atoms are combined it results in two electrons and two protons that is helium
ritesh32: ok if i take 2 helium that results
ritesh32: 2 atoms are combined to form diatomic molecule H2 bcoz there is sharing of electrons not of protons . protons cannot be shared

If the two atoms of hydrogen is combined. then it result to the formation of H2 molecule , not the element helium.

because as we know that helium has 2 proton and 2 nutron in its nucleus and hydrogen didn't has nutron .

so, to convert it in helium element, it requires 2 nutrons also.

Answer:- No, the hydrogen will not change into helium atom , on combining two atoms of hydrogen.
actually it will give the H2 molecule.
