let a frist boy mass.be 50kgs.and second one 75 kg
..ig they collided. each other they will experience a.back force and it is newton's third law action and reaction
aa per yhis law 50 kg boy experience a.large amount of force because the other person weight ia 75 kg

goutam3: i saw it on ur profile
goutam3: yes preparing for.IIT JEE MAINS
goutam3: ok
goutam3: bye

It depends on their momentum or simply on velocity(as mass is same/different).

As you know for collision linear momentum before collision and after collision remains same(in case of elastic collision, here it is elastic if boys will not injured),so you can not say about the impact only by considering same mass/different mass.
Momentum is the amount of motion in the body.So you can not neglect it as velocity is necessary for momentum.

Another cause is in elastic collision there is conservation of kinetic energy too which also requires velocity. So if velocity is not given prediction of impact is not possible.

If the boys will be injured then it will be inelastic collision .Here coefficient of restitution comes into play.As per its definition coefficient of restitution requires velocity too.

So please give the velocity.Without velocity impact can not be predicted.

Thanks.
