If two circles of radii 8cm and 3 cm touch each other internally .find the distance between their centres

Radii of first circle = 8

Radii of second circle = 3

Circumference of 1st circle

= 2×\pi×r

= 2×3.14×8

= 50.24

Circumference of 2nd circle

= 2×\pi×r

= 2×\pi×3

=18.84

___________________________________

The distance between their centres is

= 50.24 - 18.84

= 31.4cm
