solution

total nr of possible outcomes of tossing two coins simultaneously = H.H , H.I

T.H , T.T

therefore nr of possible outcomes : 4

favorable outcome of occurance of getting one tail = 82

= nr of favorable outcomes / total nr of possible outcomes

= 2 / 4 = 1 / 2 //

b ) head

total

no of possible outcome = HH,HT,TH,TT

no of favorable outcome = 1

= no of favorable outcomes / total nr of possible outcomes

= 1 / 4 //
