Given :-

  • Two complementary angles are in the ratio 10 : 8

To Find :-

  • Two complementary angles ?

Solution :-

• Let two complementary angles are 10x and 8x

• We know that, if two angles are complementary, then their sum is 90°

Then,

→ 10x + 8x = 90°

→ 18x = 90°

→ x = 90/18

→ x = 5°

Hence, Two complementary angles are –

→ 10x = 10 × 5 = 50°

→ 8x = 8 × 5 = 40°

Solution :-

given ratio of two complementary angles is ;

→ 10 : 8

→ 2 * 5 : 2 * 4

→ 5 : 4

So, let us assume that, two angles are 5x and 4x respectively .

we know that,

  • Sum of two complementary angles is equal to 90° .

then,

→ 5x + 4x = 90°

→ 9x = 90°

→ x = 10°

therefore,

→ First angle = 5x = 5 * 10 = 50°

→ Second angle = 4x = 4 * 10 = 40°

hence, the angles are 50° and 40° respectively .
