If two complementary angles are in the ratio 13:5 , then the angles are -

Method one -

Solution ;

Let 1st angle be   = 13x

Let 2nd angle be = 5x

13x + 5x = 90°

18 × = 90°

x = \frac{90}{18} = 5°

∴13x = 13(5) = 65° = 1st angle

 5x = 5(5)= 25°=   2nd angle
