let the angles be 7x and 8x
sum of complementary angles is 90°
according to question,
7x+8x=90°
15x=90°
x=6
now ,
the angles are-
7x=7*6=42°
8x=8*6=48°
therefore the two angles are 42°and 48°

Answer:
Let the first angle be 7x°.
Let the second angle be 8x°.
Sum of a pair of complementary angles=90°.
Then, according to the question,we have:
7x+8x=90
=15x=90
=X=90÷15
=X=6
Hence, first angle=7x°=(7×6)°=42°.
Second angle=(8×6)°=48°.
Hence,the complementary angles are 42°and48° respectively.
