Two complementary angles differ by 10degree.what is the larger angle

answer for above question is

Let one angle be x

Other angle = x-10

Side the angles are complementary ,

x+(x-10)=90

x+x-10=90

2x = 90+10

x = 100÷2

x = 50°

One angle = x = 50°

Other angle = x-10 = 50-10 = 40°

Therefore, larger angle is 50°
