So.....
x(x +1) = 182
x² + x = 182
x ² + x - 182 = 0
x² + 14x -13x -182 = 0.
x ( x + 14) - 13 (x + 14) = 0
(x -13) (x +14) = 0.
x = 13 or x = -14.
As the number is positive.
So, x = 13.
and the second number is.x +1 = 14
Hence the two numbers are 13 and 14.
