we know that, when two cubes of same length are placed side by side, then,

- Height of cuboid = Length of cube = 2√6 cm.
now, we also know that,
- Diagonal of the cuboid =√(length² + breadth² +height²)
Putting all values we get,
→ Diagonal = √[(4√6)² + (2√6)² + (2√6)²]
→ Diagonal = √[96 + 24 + 24]
→ Diagonal = √(144)
→ Diagonal = 12 cm.
Hence, the length of the diagonal of the cuboid so produced is 12 cm.
