If two dies are thrown , the possible outcomes which can be written as ordered pairs

(1,1), (1,2), (1,3) (6,5),(6,6). Among them , (1,1) is the only pair that shows 2 as

the sum of its numbers and the pair (6,6) shows a sum of 12.

We know that the probability of getting a pair with the sum 2 is 1/36. Now answer the
