if two forces act in opposite direction then the resultant in 10 Newton and if that mutually perpendicular then the resultant is 50 Newton find the magnitude of both the forces

The difference of two forces is 10
Let the larger force be x
So smaller force is x - 10
Their sum is 50
ATP
x + x - 10 = 50
=> 2x = 60
=> x = 30
Larger force is 30 newton
Smaller force is x - 10
=> 20 newton
