as we know that if two forces are in opposite directions then angle between them will be 180degree
¤=180degree
according to question
(10)^2=a^2+B^2+2aB*cos180
10=√a^2+B^2+2aB*-1
10=a-B-----------(i)
now
if two Force are perpendicular then angle between them will be 90degree
so by using formula
50=√a^2+B^2*cos90
2500=a2+B2--------(ii)
