.first option temperature of the ice cubes reduces the second option the melting point of ice reduces to below zero degree Celsius due to the pressure applied third option temperature around the ice cubes reduces the fourth option the melting point of ice because zero degree Celsius due to pressure.


The melting point is ice is decreased due to the increase in pressure at the junction point.


When the ice cubes are pressed together, there is a generation of heat due to which the outer layer melts and the friction decreases. As the temperature of both the cubes is less the water refreezes.
