HCF(Highest common factor):−(Also called as GCD)HCF of two

numbers is the number which completely divides(with 0 remainder)

both the numbers.For example,HCF of 14 and 21 is 7, HCF(54,27)is 27.

Given a=x³y²,b=xy³

It can be observed that xy²

is a common factor of both a and b.

Hence HCF(a,b)=xy².
