Heya user ,
Here is your answer !!

________

Let the numerator be x
and ,
The denominator be y .
There fore , fraction = x/y .

So , acc. to the question ,

x / ( y - 2 ) = 1 / 3
=> 3x = y - 2
=> 3x - y = - 2 ----- ( 1 )

And ,

( x + 2 ) / ( y - 1 ) = 1 / 2
=> 2 ( x + 2 ) = y - 1
=> 2x + 4 = y - 1
=> 2x - y = - 5. ----- ( 2 )

Now , solving ( 1 ) and ( 2 ) , we get ,
3x - y = - 2
2x - y = - 5.

x = 3 .

and ,

y = 11 .

So , the fraction is -----> 3 / 11 . [ Answer ] .

________

Hope it helps !!
