Step-by-step explanation:

ANSWER

Let BD= a and DF=b.

In △ABF, CD∥AB

ABCD=BFDF i.e.,

xz=a+bb....(I)

And, in ΔBEF, CD  is parallel to EF

⇒EFCD=BFBD i.e.

yz=a+ba...(II)

Adding I and II

∴xz+yz=a+bb+a+ba=1

⇒x1+y1=z1
