If u r asking for the pairs on a single side then it would be 1 pair and if u r asking for both sides then it would be 2 pairs.

Step-by-step explanation:

In the above figure as u can see AB is parallel to CD, PQ is the transversal and angles 1,2,3,4 are the interior angles and angles 1,2 and 3,4 are the pairs of interior angles on both the sides.

Also NOTE that a pair is formed by 2 angles i.e. a pair will always include 2 angles not 1 ...!!!
